At College Place FSU, we believe in accommodating every member of your household, including pets, across all our student living options. With a one-time fee of $300 and a monthly pet fee of $25, we welcome your furry companions with open arms. Whether you're settling into a spacious townhouse, a cozy flat, or a multi-bedroom house, you can enjoy the comfort of knowing your pet is part of our pet-friendly community near Florida State University.

Guest Policy 

At CollegePlace FSU, we prioritize the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all our residents. To ensure a pleasant living environment for everyone, we enforce a guest policy that limits stays in all apartments and homes to no more than 3 consecutive days without prior written consent. This policy helps maintain the security and privacy of our community while respecting the needs of our residents. We encourage open communication and cooperation to create a positive living experience for all at CollegePlace FSU.

LEASE TERMS

At CollegePlace FSU, we prioritize convenience and flexibility with our leasing options. We offer individual leasing, which means each resident is responsible only for their own portion of the rent, providing financial independence and peace of mind. How do I pay rent?

Please log in to your resident portal and click on the payments icon in the top navigation bar. You have the option to pay rent in 1, 3 or 12 installments. Contact the office for more info.

How do I submit a service request?

Log in to your resident portal and scroll down from the resident dashboard to the service request section to submit your maintenance request ticket. You can also call or stop by the front desk. If it is an emergency, please notify the front office immediately. 

Can I choose my roommates?

We accept roommate requests. After signing a lease you will receive a text message where you can submit your roommate request.

We also offer a roommate matching system if you don’t have anyone in mind that you would like to live with. We will send you a roommate matching sheet to fill out once your lease is signed and then we will find the best fit for you! 

How do I get parking?

You will need to pay for a parking pass from the office. Parking passes are first come first serve. Contact the office for more info.

What is the pet policy?

Pets are allowed. Contact the office for more info.

What do I need to bring to my new apartment?

We suggest that you bring: 

  • Bedding for a full-sized bed. 
  • Toiletries. 
  • Dishes/Cookware. 
  • Decorations to make your new room feel like home!

What is included in the rent?

Rent includes utilities (water, electricity, sewer, and trash pickup), washer & dryer, and a wonderful staff that is there to help you anytime you need them. 

Are leases for families with children available?

YesThe property’s policy is included here for family occupants with a child(ren) under the age of eighteen (18) who is domiciled with (i) at least one parent, legal guardian, or another person having legal custody of the child under the age of eighteen, or (ii) the designee of such parent or other person having such custody, with written permission of such parent or other person.  For family households with children, all household members age eighteen (18) or older must: (A) complete an application, and (B) sign the lease as a Resident

For family households with children under the age of eighteen (18), at least two (2) people will be permitted to occupy a single bedroom. If a family household with children under the age of eighteen (18) requires additional occupancy per bedroom, additional occupants may be allowed on a case-by-case basis based on factors including, but not limited to, the size of the bedroom(s) and unit, age of the children, configuration of the unit, any physical limitations of the property, and local occupancy codes. 

If the child occupant reaches eighteen (18) years of age during the term of the lease, the lease will be allowed to complete its term, but renewal will only be offered in compliance with the occupancy policy as stated. Child occupants who are under twenty-four (24) months at the time the lease is signed will not be counted under the occupancy policy for purposes of maximum occupancy but will be counted for subsequent leases if they reach the age of twenty-four (24) months during the term of the leaseThe Landlord has the right to lease any empty bedroom(s)

Families should contact the office directly regarding the application for family households, as this process varies from individual leasing and the required forms are not all available electronically.
